Media Supervisor

The media landscape continues to change daily, and the media team at DMH is responsible for staying abreast of evolving trends and helping our clients solve problems by building modern strategies and plans across all forms of media. To assist in this endeavor, DMH is seeking a Media Supervisor with 5+ years of experience, preferably in an agency setting. The Media Supervisor will lead the media strategy, planning and buying for select client partners and with support from associate & specialist-level teammates.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Integrated Media team to create comprehensive strategies that utilize paid, earned and social disciplines to accomplish client goals
  • Develop cross-channel (digital and non-digital) media strategies and recommendations with minimal oversight
  • Manage campaign implementation, both directly & indirectly, across multiple self-serve and managed/direct-buy platforms and partners
  • Be responsible for ensuring timely client billing and reconciliations for accuracy
  • Compile and analyze competitive data and consumer media usage research
  • Develop close working relationships with media partners, handle day-to-day client requests and questions
  • Provide research for and write thoughtful media POVs
  • Oversee campaign tracking and optimization, to ensure positive campaign results
  • Work across the agency to educate on media trends and best practices

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • Is willing to wear many hats and work on projects of all types
  • Possesses an understanding of digital media channels including search, social, programmatic & direct as well as knowledge of traditional media
  • Is an independent, process oriented, self-starter with initiative and the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task
  • Has persuasive written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong presentation skills
  • Maintains accurate, accessible and organized documentation
  • Serves as a role model within the team, coaching junior team members on effective communication with vendors and clients
  • Thrive in a team environment and passionate about contributing ideas
  • Drive to learn and take on new responsibilities
  • Analytical mindset with experience managing budgets and working with large data sets
  • Media tools experience (preferred, not required): Campaign Manager 360, MRI-Simmons, Kantar Advertising Insights, Facebook Ads Manager, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Lumenad, any Demand Side Platform
